Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver Versions are fully-enhanced versions of the original Pokémon Gold Version and Pokémon Silver Version games from 2001. Start your quest in New Bark Town and answer the call of the local Pokémon professor. He’ll set you on an epic journey where you’ll learn about the sinister Team Rocket, who cause all sorts of trouble for the Pokémon. Team Rocket was defeated in Pokémon FireRed Version and Pokémon GreenLeaf Version, but has now reassembled once more in the Johto region. What are they really up to? There’s more to this shady crew than meets the eye…

Exclusive to Pokémon HeartGold Version and Pokémon SoulSilver Version is the chance to keep your Pokémon by your side with the brand new Pokéwalker accessory! The Pokéwalker is included with your game and will count the steps you make during your day in order to develop your friendship with your Pokémon. Use the Pokéwalker to interact with your Pokémon, catch wild Pokémon using the Poké Radar or find items with the special Dowsing Machine and then transfer them all into your game! You can select from a number of different Routes on the Pokéwalker as you walk and each Route has different Pokémon to catch and items to find. The more you walk, the more Watts you earn - use these Watts to unlock the new Routes and discover the different wild Pokémon! Pokéwalkers also communicate with each other, so if your friend has a Pokéwalker too, you can connect to each other using infrared and both receive a special gift for connecting!

A close bond with your Pokémon will be vital as there are plenty of hefty challenges in wait for you. Meet up with Legendary Pokémon Raikou, Entei and Suicune at Ecruteak City where you’ll also encounter a mysterious Trainer called Eusine. Keep track of your Pokémon on a new style of Pokédex – it’s really easy to use via the intuitive Touch Screen controls and there are even two versions – one for boys and one for girls. The two versions of the game feature different legendary Pokémon at the climax of the game – meet Ho-Oh in Pokémon HeartGold Version and Lugia in Pokémon SoulSilver Version – will you be able to get hold of both these legends as well?
